AIR COMPRESSOR CANADA RETURN POLICY
As used in this Return Policy, Air Compressor Canada, with its principal place of business at 5311 John Lucas Dr., Unit 5-6, Burlington, ON, L7L 6A8, Canada, is referred to as the “Seller,” and the entity purchasing goods from the Seller is referred to as the “Purchaser.”
Thank you for purchasing Air Compressor Canada products. We appreciate your business. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, returns may be accepted in accordance with the policy below. By approving a quotation or processing payment, the Purchaser accepts this Return Policy.
1. Returns
All approved returns must be completed within 30 days from the shipping date. Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and returned with all original tags, labels, and packaging.
2. Return Process
To begin a return, please email service@aircompressorcanada.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
After receiving an RMA number, the item must be securely packed in its original packaging and returned to:
US Air Compressor Canada Inc.
5311 John Lucas Dr., Unit 12-13
Burlington, ON L7L 6A8
Canada
In certain circumstances, Air Compressor Canada may assist in arranging return shipment. Unless expressly stated otherwise in this policy, all return shipping costs and restocking charges are the Purchaser’s responsibility. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method.
3. Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected, a refund will be processed if the return is approved. Credit card refunds may take 1 to 2 billing cycles to appear on the statement. Non-credit card refunds may take up to 45 days to process. The Purchaser will be notified by email once the return has been processed.
4. Non-Returnable Items and Exceptions
The following items are not eligible for return unless otherwise approved by Air Compressor Canada:
- Used items
- Consommables, y compris filtres, réservoirs d'air comprimé, huile et pièces de rechange
Air Compressor Canada reserves the right to refuse any return at its sole discretion. Shipping charges, restocking fees, and credit card fees remain the Purchaser’s responsibility. Unless otherwise stated, a 40% restocking fee will apply to approved returns.
5. Shipping Responsibility and Claims
Air Compressor Canada’s shipping responsibility ends when the goods leave the dock at our warehouse. Shipping services are provided by third-party carriers, even if arranged through the Air Compressor Canada system.
Air Compressor Canada may assist the Purchaser with shipping-related claims involving loss, damage, or delayed delivery, but the investigation and resolution process with third-party carriers may take 4 to 6 months. No return, exchange, or refund will be processed until the shipping claim has been resolved by the carrier.
Cargo may not be fully insured or fully compensated in the event of loss or damage. Customers are strongly encouraged to purchase additional insurance coverage before shipment. Air Compressor Canada can assist in arranging additional insurance if requested and paid for in advance.
6. Delivery Inspection and Damage Claims
The Purchaser must inspect all goods before signing the Bill of Lading. If damage is visible, the Purchaser must either refuse delivery or clearly note the damage on the Bill of Lading.
If the Purchaser signs the Bill of Lading without documenting the damage, it will be deemed that the goods were delivered in acceptable condition. Air Compressor Canada will not be responsible for damage during transportation, and any claims must be directed to the carrier.
Concealed damage must be reported immediately and must be supported by photographs of the damaged product.
If the outer packaging appears damaged but the product inside seems unaffected, the Purchaser should write “Possible Freight Damage” on the delivery receipt while the driver is present. This will assist with the freight claim process if hidden damage is later discovered.
If the product arrives obviously damaged, do not sign for it. Refuse delivery and contact Air Compressor Canada immediately so the claim and replacement process can begin.
7. Rules and Exceptions
Parts and Consumables
Consumable items, including filters, compressed air tanks, oil, and service parts, are not eligible for return or refund unless there is a manufacturing defect or the wrong item was shipped. In all such cases, the goods must be unused and in their original packaging.
For parts that have not yet shipped, refunds are not offered. However, depending on the situation, Air Compressor Canada may issue a customer account credit for future use.
Compressors, Dryers, and Other Final Products
Shipping Costs
All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is the result of an operational error by Air Compressor Canada.
30-Day Return Window
Returns are not accepted more than 30 days after the shipping date. If returned within 30 days, the customer is responsible for shipping costs and a 40% restocking fee will apply. Any refund or replacement will be processed only after the product is returned, inspected, and confirmed to be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging. Any damage or repair cost will be charged to the customer.
Shipping Damage
Damage must be properly recorded on the Bill of Lading. If damage is not recorded, no refund or replacement will be issued on that basis. Air Compressor Canada may assist in opening a claim with the third-party shipping company, and the claim must be resolved before further action can be taken.
If there is no damage notation on the Bill of Lading, the product may still be returned for inspection and repair at the customer’s expense, including all shipping and repair costs.
After 30 days from the shipping date, no refund or exchange is available. Shipping-related issues after that period may still be handled as a repair or return process, but all costs remain the customer’s responsibility.
Operational Errors
If the wrong product or part was shipped, Air Compressor Canada will investigate the issue. If the claim is verified, the correct product or part will be sent after the original item is returned, and Air Compressor Canada will cover the related shipping costs. Returned goods must be unused and in original packaging.
Warranty Replacement
If a compressor has a valid warranty issue within 30 days of the shipping date, the customer may receive a replacement or refund without a restocking fee, and Air Compressor Canada will cover shipping costs.
After 30 days, warranty claims do not qualify for refund or exchange. However, replacement parts may be supplied at no charge if covered under warranty. Shipping costs for warranty parts may be paid by Air Compressor Canada. If the final product must be returned to Air Compressor Canada for repair, shipping costs both to and from our facility remain the customer’s responsibility. If the issue is determined to be covered under warranty, repairs will be completed at no cost. If the product is not repairable, a replacement compressor may be provided.
